How’re things at Bain these days?
Starting at MBB soon and wondering: would I ever find myself able to take ~2 weeks off for surgery and recovery sometime later during my first year, or is that just not realistic in this line of work?
What are the most common M/SM failure modes post-MBB? Curious as to your thoughts - for smart people with good education, but still relatively new in career and domain expertise, what have you seen as the most common failure modes post-MBB? I'm looking for my next thing, and while I can clearly see the benefits of me (Bain M/SM) over an A or an SA as an IC, I'm having a hard time seeing myself leading a team without the leadership support at MBB (APs, Ps etc.).
Struggle with complex chart reading in case interviews and tend to blabber alot without getting to key insights. Any tips on how to get better at this?
Have an interview for Sr. Product Manager at Bain and Co. TSG. What is the culture like on the administrative side? Anything I should be aware of?
Any benefit to starting at MBB in August vs September?
Busy in most places. Innovating like crazy. Feeling the cracks in our office-centric approach, suspect we’ll need to copy you guys and organise around global practices before long.
True you can always evaluate a company on the basis of: if they hire me, things are not good. Puts on BCG

So good that they didn't even want me.
