What is IS Audit
Do you guys send your kids to daycare with their cellphones? My kids are starting their summer daycare program next week but the center doesn't want kids to bring tablets or cellphones. I feel like I want my kids to be able to call me if they need me. So, I'm thinking of putting their phones in their bags, on silent anyway. I'm paying a fortune to this center, I should get some say here.
Do you think age (or perceived age) factors into promotions or raises? Curious about the typical age that people are promoted to principle, sr. manager, manager, etc, or does the vary by industry? I’m on the younger side but have a lot of work experience so wondering if age will hurt me in future promotions
Big 4 salaries come with big burnout risks. I'm currently at Deloitte, and I'm running on fumes. However, I'm too afraid to take a step back or take time off because I never know when layoffs will hit and I don't want to be seen as weak. So I keep pushing myself. How do you guys work yourself to the point of exhaustion and yet avoid burnout?
Which of the Big 4 are the worst at handling layoffs? It's KPMG, right?
Has anyone taken a mental health/stress leave and are they paid? I am suffering but can’t afford not having a paycheck.
You spelt trash wrong
IS audit typically helps with control testing over complex IT systems (ITGCs and applicable walkthroughs) in which the audit team does not have the expertise to perform such work.
I've mostly heard Income Statement referred this way, but it likely is Information Security as audits are more typically performed over financial statements and not limited to a particular statement. But who knows, ask the person that is using this wording.
I second this
