At Total Vets we are a growing companion animal practice that sees plenty of exotics.

We are no longer a Repro clinic instead our vets have special interests in surgery, medical cases and pathology.

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic qualified Vet Nurse. The nurse who has an attention for detail, treating clients as a family whilst maintaining a high level of professional standards.

To be successful in this role you must have a minimum of 2 years experience in both surgical and medical nursing. You must be competent in I/V placements, taking blood samples, calculations, animal handling, nursing consults and excellent customer services. Intuition and the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team is a must.

This is a part-time role of 30 hours per week, which is Wednesday to Saturday with 1 in 3 weekends off, flexibility is also required for sickness and holiday cover.

We are equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray including dental x-ray, a state of the art ultrasound, fluid pumps and monitors to assist during anaesthesia.
