A day in this role looks like

• Work on the existing Cryptopia Exchange Platform to ensure Cryptopia continues to meet its strategic goals
• Write well designed, testable code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Work with team members and stakeholders to implement new features and resolve technical debt
• Working with Product Owners to drive development of features and prioritisation of a product backlog.
• Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Requirements

Must haves:

• 2+ years of enterprise development experience.
• Experience in Javascript frameworks (VueJS in particular), SASS, .NET, JIRA, Git.
• Experience in deployment automation
• Experience with test driven or feature driven development
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with SCRUM or other agile methodologies.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in NZ.

Nice to haves:

• Blockchain experience
• FinTech experience
• Jenkins, Team Foundation Server (TFS), Grunt, Node
• AMQP services
• Docker or other containerisation technologies
