About the role

We’re looking for a self motivated Operations Manager to join our team, with responsibility for managing and directing the strategic operations in the South Island.

In this role you will be working closely with Franchisees, Suppliers and the Leadership team. You will be responsible for the performance of our South Island operations, including store growth, financial performance, network development and providing advice to our franchisees. Key duties include:
  • Monitor operational performance and supply appropriate instruction
  • Maintain and improve brand standards
  • Identify and develop opportunities to increase the Liquorland Franchise network
  • Improve franchise presentation, execution standards and compliance including training programs, Health and Safety, Sale and Supply of Alcohol and Human Resource legislative requirements
  • Recruitment of new and potential franchisees
  • Maintain and develop effective relationships with stakeholder groups including Franchisees, suppliers, customers and regulatory groups
About you

With competing priorities and pressures, your ability to juggle tasks and work collaboratively is of paramount importance. You’ll also have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Ideally you will have experience coaching and mentoring Franchisees or Managers, with a focus on growing sales and improving financial performance. As the only staff member in the SI, you need to be self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and manage travel and budgets effectively.
