Our client has an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Operations Manager to take charge of their Manufacturing facility. The role primarily consists of managing the daily production, forecasting stock requirements, managing your team to ensure production targets are met along with ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are exceeded. You will form part of the management team and work closely with the Office Manager & Stores Supervisor to ensure production runs smoothly through the business.

Leading operational excellence, you will drive operational strategic initiatives. Your ability to build relationships at all levels, challenge ideas and influence will be your strengths as will your exceptional analytical skills and leading and managing people to ensure operational objectives are achieved. You have a cool head, a clear concise communication style and have mastered the art of problem solving - both people and process! Your looking to apply your well-honed manufacturing & productions skills in a new environment!
You must have
Proven experience as a people orientated change maker
Excellent communication & core soft skills
A working practical knowledge of branch & manufacturing operations
Min 3 years experience in a production supervisory role
Be looking to take the next step up the ladder in your career
Pass pre employment drug testing and criminal history check
Be prepared to work alongside your team on a daily basis
Current OSH fork hoist licence
Be able to operate hand & power tools
Be practical with excellent handyman skills
Able to do heavy work
Good computer skills
Prepared to do what it takes to add value to the business
Excellent Numeracy & literacy
