Our client is a high profile financial services group here in Christchurch that continues to develop its business through a strong customer service approach, which sees it well positioned to capitalise on future growth opportunities within its sector.
The Operations Manager’s role is a newly created position. Working closely with the General Manager in the delivery of quality client services, the role will have a strong focus on resource and operational planning, continuous improvement and development of systems, business development and managing key relationships within referral networks. In managing the day to day operations, the Operations Manager will lead and further develop a small team of client managers and senior administrators as well as looking after the business performance analysis and reporting up to board level.
Applications are therefore sought from candidates who are professionally qualified in areas such as law, accounting, finance or business management and can offer a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, who are seeking a challenging role in a dynamic, financial services based organisation, that still has exciting future growth opportunities. Drive, vision and the ability to lead, motivate and interact effectively with people at all levels, identify opportunities, and attain performance goals are all pre-requisites. Previous exposure to the legal or financial services sectors, while not essential, is seen as an advantage.
