This key role ensures our Marketing Centre of Excellence is running smoothly, which is why we are on the hunt for someone with exceptional communication and project management skills to work closely with our Chief Marketing Officer, the wider Marketing Leadership team and Finance.

About the Role:
Essentially, you will ensure Marketing is operating at peak efficiency with resources aligned appropriately – everything from managing the Marketing COE Budget and P&L, marketing workflow, creating efficient processes, staff and accountability. You will be intensely involved in and responsible for managing the marketing department’s “business” for our internal clients on a day to day basis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Budget Management, benchmarking, and alignment of spend against maximizing LTV / margin-generating behaviours
- Dashboards, including marketing ROI evaluations, alignment, and operationalising read-and-react behaviours
- Delivery to strategy - Budget Management, benchmarking, and alignment of spend of Marketing COE maximizing Long Term Value (LTV)
- Own and drive planning processes, including Annual Planning, Quarterly Operating Plans, and Functional Plans
- Own organisational structure, process and operational changes
- Resource management, including management and blending of talent resources across FTE, Contractor and flex spends
- Add operational efficiency to the creative workflow process by using tools, measurement, and best practices to streamline and structure the way creative work is produced.
- Responsible for production budgeting, contract negotiations, and driving down production costs to support overall cost management.
- Completing projects to a specific schedule and within an agreed budget
- Organisational operations
- Management of group-level marketing partnerships and relationships
About You:
With your strong organisation skills (and eye for detail), you will be comfortable in the world of budgets, along with your comfort in engaging with stakeholders at all levels. We are seeking a fun loving, go getter who has a willingness to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. Our wish list also includes:
- Ideally 8+ years Operations / Project Management experience in a retail/agency or other fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proven track record of project management
- Excellent attention to detail, superior prioritisation and organisational skills.
- Experience influencing and managing extended team – proven leadership and coaching skills
- Experience working in large organisations, with Board level experience would be beneficial
- Working in an agile environment would be a plus
