What you’ll do
You'll work within our HCM development team in Christchurch to provide deliverables for the users of our human resource and payroll software.

We need someone who can develop, test and release:
Customer projects
Maintenance Release issues
Roadmap items

You'll also need to:
Present ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals
Work closely with analysts, qualification testers, and consulting staff
Test in controlled, real situations before going live
Provide user documentation content
Who we’re looking for

Key skills:
At least three years’ post graduate experience developing software applications
Proven experience in JADE software development and deployment
Web development experience - solid HTML, CSS, .net and Javascript (using jQuery or similar frameworks) skills
Excellent communication skills, communicating effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with both internal and external stakeholders
An eye for detail and effective problem-solving skills
Confidence working within an agile development methodology and experience working to agile delivery
Analytical and commercial experience
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Desired skills:
Experience using Atlassian's Jira and Confluence
Experience using version control systems like Subversion
An understanding of the client experience, appreciating what it takes to form long-term client relationships
Ability to take initiative and adapt to new situations and frameworks easily
