Our client is one of New Zealand’s largest grower owned post-harvest suppliers. Based in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, they have a history of growth and an uncompromising reputation for looking after their Growers.

In the role of Health & Safety Administrator, you will report to the Health & Safety Manager and be responsible for support to the H&S team at Head Office and the wider H&S teams, in the areas of administration, maintenance of databases; running reports; representing H&S on the H&S committee meetings; reviewing and updating policies and procedures. In addition a key part of this role is the management and administration of reportable injury claims. You will also champion the business’ health and wellness programme and injury prevention initiatives and systems.

To be successful in this role you will have:
H&S compliance and legislation knowledge and a passion for H&S excellence;
Strong planning, organisational and follow up skills;
Excellent administration skills (especially using databases, Word & Excel);
Highly developed communication skills and ability to form relationships quickly and with ease;
Exceptional time management; attention to detail and problem solving skills and ideally some exposure to H&S systems such as Vault.
