About the role

We seek an experienced Health & Safety Business Partner to join our Otahuhu based manufacturing business.

Reporting directly to the NZ & PI Health & Safety Manager, the successful applicant will be a member of the NZPI Safety Team and the Pacific Steel Management Team participating both in driving best working practice safety and leadership and engagement across Pacific Steel and NZPI. The role will also have a Safety Administrator reporting to them.

Suitable tertiary qualification and track record of safety leadership & experience

Experience/Knowledge in Behavioural Safety & Human Factors

Incident Investigation skills

Experience in Heavy Industry environment

Track record in driving change and performance

Building strong relationships with cross functional teams including the ability to lead and coach others

Excellent communication & influencing skills with the ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
