We are looking for a Field Operations Manager to lead our Towers Division in Wellington.
What's involved?
Problem solving, Leadership and achieving goals are all part of this key role with us. Your day-to-day tasks will include undertaking assigned contracts to client or industry standards, while consistently reaching production and financial targets, and complying with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Standards. Working within our Towers team, you will be expected to demonstrate leadership and responsibility for yourself and your staff and manage a number of direct reports.
Key accountabilities include:
Demonstrating H&S Leadership and managing workplace hazards
Providing planning, leadership and control over direct labour and equipment resources
Developing relationships with customers, and ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively
Who are you?
You will have a strong knowledge of plant and equipment from an operations and maintenance perspective. Experience working at height, use of fall arrest equipment, blasting processes, working on transmission towers and working to field quality control standards is essential.
You will be a team player, a 'hands-on' leader, with the mindset and ability to execute tasks efficiently and support others to carry out projects and workload.
Holders of ACE or NACE inspection, Confined Space, Fall Arrest Systems, Site Safe and First Aid certificates would all be highly regarded.
