About Montoux
Montoux is the fastest growing and most innovative actuarial technology company in the world. We’re transforming the insurance sector, with software that gives insurers radically improved insights into their products, pricing and market dynamics. Our customers include some of the world’s most prestigious life insurance brands in the New Zealand, Australia, Japan and the United States - and we are expanding.
We provide our product mainly to life insurance carriers so we operate purely in the B2B space, with large enterprises. Our users are product and pricing actuaries, often highly technical.
We are looking for ambitious people who love solving problems, operating in a dynamic environment and being part of a supportive, high-performing team.
Montoux is a place where you can supercharge your career and your learning curve in a supportive, high-growth environment. People at Montoux have lots of opportunities to advance in their roles by taking on leadership, developing technical mastery, owning customer relationships and working internationally.
We also offer a fun and refreshing alternative to traditional corporate work environments. Montoux is a place where your talents and ideas will be truly valued and you will be able to move fast, implement your ideas and see your impact.
As a culture, we believe in putting people first. We’re a diverse group of people with different passions, but a common drive to give our customers the best results. We all love a challenge and get massive satisfaction from turning things that ‘too big, too hard or too complex’ into easy and elegant. We’re on an incredible journey and we enjoy the ride - both when it’s game on and when it’s time to recharge and enjoy life in Wellington. We’re flexible and we care more about results than how each person chooses to work.
Montoux is based in Wellington, New Zealand, which sits at the heart of FinTech innovation and is one of the top smart-living and lifestyle cities in the world. In 2017, we added a New York office to support out North American growth. We recently won a globally competitive insurance innovation award in Asia and completed an oversubscribed capital raising.
