Entelect has won first place in the large organisation category in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work Awards – South Africa. Powered by WorkL, the awards recognise organisations with the most consistent and highest levels of employee engagement, experience, and wellbeing in South Africa. The results are survey-based and determined by the employees of each organisation that enters the awards. The 35 survey questions measure employee experience, covering WorkL’s six key drivers of engagement: Reward and Recognition, Information Sharing, Empowerment, Pride, Job Satisfaction, and Wellbeing.
The 2024 Entelect Challenge culminated in the finals, held on the main stage at Comic Con Africa on Saturday, 28 September. We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the Graduate Employer of Choice in the IT Hardware and Software category at the 2024 South African Graduate Employers Association (SAGEA) Awards. SAGEA, is a not-for-profit professional association committed to elevating the field of graduate employment in South Africa.
In a landmark achievement, 135 Entelect employees (affectionately known as Entelectuals) have been recognised for their long service in 2024. These dedicated individuals have been part of the Entelect journey for 5, 10, 15 years, and beyond – a testament to an environment that fosters growth while emphasising community. Entelectuals who reach tenure milestones are celebrated in an awards ceremony, where each person is honoured with personal stories of achievement and learnings, and mementos of thanks from leadership. Remarkably, this year is the first time the awards ceremony has been split into two events to accommodate the growing number of people who have called Entelect home for more than five years.
On 23 May 2024, over 1500 Entelectuals took flight across three continents, touching down in 10 different offices for DevDay, Entelect’s bi-annual tech conference.
