Pros

People are kind and helpful . Decent place for freshers to start with.( don't exceed more than 2 years here ). Office located in central Pune. Specific 2/3 teams are very supportive and find yourself lucky if you get a place in them.

Cons

Very less scope of personal / individual growth . Upper management needs to up-skill their tech stacks and knowledge and be at par in the industry . Innovative ideas are scraped in place for dirty fixes. The brain drain has been starkly visible with the top devs making an exit and the management must look at it and take things seriously. These were the people who have made the company what it is now and them exiting isn't a positive sign . Salary cut in Covid lockdown and poor appraisal. Salary is highly inconsistent both intra and inter teams. Avoid MAT/QA teams as no skills learnt there are ever applicable in market. Very difficult to switch as no skills required in market are learned here. The 5 star reviews are fake . The rating dropping from 4.6 to 3.3 itself should be a sign enough.

Pros

The only thing good about eQ Technologic is its salary structure, annual bonus and hikes. Also there is no office timing constraint as such but if you're well loaded with work, it won't be of much benefit to you.

Cons

There is absolutely no sense of professionalism at all. 1. To begin with all the discussions in the meeting rooms or on the phones are generally started in Marathi considering the fact that it's a company which hires from colleges in and around Pune. Lateral joiners who don't know the language end up being so proficient in it that they understand all of it or maybe speak a bit too than learning anything relevant to their skills to enhance their technical acumen. 2. Not sure about the culture in eQube-BI or MAT but if you’re being hired for eQube-MI or eQubeMI-GMP, you’re doomed for sure. a. The manager is a dictator and all his leads\subordinates are absolute Yes-Men. Even if you’re right and have a valid point you’ll be asked to do what he likes no matter how ridiculously impractical it sounds or looks. b. In the meeting room if you’ve gone to present an idea and God forbid if you’re wrong and have missed a scenario which is absolutely human, you’ll be laughed at by the manager and all his Yes-Men. Not only you’ll feel humiliated but you’ll not care to come up with any idea to contribute ever. Leads are absolutely spineless too, because your lead who’s heard the idea first, was pretty convinced before presenting it to others and couldn’t spot the missed case himself will absolutely disown you, forget about taking your side. You’re on your own and your lead’s look towards you in front of everyone will be as if you’ve gone against his wish to present it. The same impression will be given to the manager that he’s not even aware of it and has no say in it. c. Stories which have no significance to the discussion will be told in the meetings by the manager. Throughout you’ll realize that the story is told just to pass some sarcastic comment on you which is nothing but humiliation and disgust. d. The manager has a use and throw approach towards his people. If you’re genuinely in need and ask for “Work for Home” for a few days, they won’t bother to give you an ear if you’re not that crucial to the project at that time. On the other hand if you’ve dependency on you, the manager\CTO will be ready to give you their own laptops so that you could login from home and work. e. You won’t be given your fair share of respect and your time won’t be even valued. People stay late in office because the manager stays till late. Even if you come in at 9 AM and leave at 6 PM, take only one 20 minutes break in between and are seriously working the entire day, you’re considered unprofessional, unproductive and non-serious towards your job just because you left on time whereas those who come in at 1 PM, leave at 9 PM after the boss or with the boss so that they could butter him up till the parking are considered more hardworking and are given all the appreciations and respect.

A Bad Decision

Pros

Just one - Great location

Cons

1. Technology - They are still using the Stone age technologies to maintain the application. So even if you're getting lots of work, it will be always outdated. 2. Compensation - Decent salary structure. Low basic pay which in turn affects HRA, PF, Gratuity, Employer Contribution. 3. Entertainment - No entertainment at all, just work work work. 4. Parking - This company is in Pavilion Mall Pune and has very limited parking slots. If you're late, park it anywhere. 5. Work from Home - No laptop and hence there is no facility of working from home. Even in Corona epidemic we were in office. 6. Management - Very very very poor management, we felt so bad when our senior manager asked to stay late till 12-1 AM even during the corona epidemic. It was shocking ! 7. Flexibility - No work flexibility, if they ask you to check-in your task today that means no matter what it is, you're check-in should happen. This review is purely related to MI team - full stack developer role.
