      Cons

Really need to hustle to grow-- as with any large company.

      Horrible handling of COVID-19

      Pros

I've met some really kind people.

      Cons

      1) Senior leadership did not want people (computer/desk workers) to work from home even during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Policies were never directly communicated to employees, so it was up to each department to be forthcoming or each employee to inquire. The fraction of employees that could work from home are being mandated back to office full time before the COVID-19 vaccine is mandated for employees. Mask wearing in offices are non-existent. It's hard to tell if you're even working at a renowned health system because the policies say otherwise. The number of coworkers that have gotten COVID-19 (not from direct patient care) at this institution is alarming. Previously the system's disdain for WFH was outdated, but now it's reckless. 2) They say they care about diversity and inclusion, but the faces of who is in senior leadership say otherwise. There are plenty of POC in "professional" roles, but they are underrepresented in leadership.

      Pros

Depending on the lab / department, the culture can be amazing. It was a very great place to work, and had a ton of resources and opportunities.

      Cons

There was not much in the way of onboarding, but this might have had more to do with covid than anything else.

      Do not do it

      Pros

Learn a lot about the medical field. Some of my coworkers were great to work with.

      Cons

Terrible management and work culture here. They don’t treat you like a human being. If you don’t do the crazy amount of work they want you to do then you get in trouble. Very unprofessional behavior from management. Some patients are very rude and UCLA continues to cater to them at the risk of employees own mental health.

      Pros

Its way better than glassdoor already seems to be because they didn't force me to answer questions just to look at jobs

      Cons

You cannot force me to speak ill of my former employer; how ridiculous of a company to think they have such power.
