Pros

Zero pros at this company

Cons

Employees are treated terribly. Was told by my recruiter of flexible hours- far from! Employees of all levels including managers and directors are required to swipe in and out everyday. Every move is monitored. No flex time, no remote working. Forget about being ill, that’s not allowed either. Management always yelling at employees.

Dear "Current" Employee - this is surely not how we want our employees to feel. HR has an open door policy and if you are still currently working here, I implore you to please discuss further with HR directly.

Pros

THere are no pro's to working at Troy, well maybe with the exception that if you do not produce you will have a job for ever.

Cons

The salary is lower than the national mean scores for just about every position THE LEVEL OF MISTRUST or ALL employees from the owners of the company ( 3 family members) is unreal. Like nothing I've seen in the corporate world. Middle management is not allowed to make any decisions at all on project spend, even when it is at a level of 500 dollars. This is a management graveyard. Most employees are 50+ so health benefits for a single person is over 800 dollars a month. DO NOT COME HERE unless you expect to DIE here and watch your career die as well. THere is massive amounts of mistreatment of employees, especially the exempt employees. NO COMP TIME, NO WORK FROM HOME...EVER, NO Telecommuting, even during states of emergency. Bonus and profit sharing was communicated during the interview as 10 to 12 %. Reality for a top performer is 3%. UNREAL! Ask for a tour of the office before you take any position. I guarantee they will not do it because the facility is a dump. Dark and dank offices with mold issues. THIS IS A HELL HOLE PEOPLE. I IMPLORE YOU TO STEER CLEAR. Most interviewees are offered positions but quit within the first month. Turnover is massive as this is truly the definition of a sweatshop. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Worst Company I Ever Worked For

Pros

There are no pros to this company.

Cons

The work environment is very hostile. Upper management is only happy when they are arguing or putting their employees down. It is a very negative company that focuses on mistakes. You can do 99 projects correctly but miss 1 and your career is over. They will never forget a mistake and your bonus and raise will reflect it. The brothers are constantly in shouting matches. 95% of the employees are looking for new jobs. You will be overworked and expected to be there 14 hours a day and get no appreciation for it. Upper management have zero people skills and it will never change. The only reason there are long term employees working there is because they cannot find another job. Most people are there less than 5 years because they come in and then quit as soon as they can. Troy is absolutely hands down the worst company that I ever worked for. It is a company where every employee is unhappy.
