Pros

Reasonably calm work environment. Shiny-new facilities even after several years, but eerily like a movie set, with almost no personal touches or signs of anyone settling in. Easy local commute and plenty of parking. Competent HR for a small company. Interesting but increasingly rare business focus.

Cons

Company is third or fourth of the same stripe for owner and is run as a hobby; marginal profitability is enough and despite endless discussion of new directions and growth, every day is "same as before" and there is no real top-level interest in anything else. Detailed planning projects are urged along and then shelved for the next idea. Sales department does little except process orders from longstanding clients. Technical and warehouse end is competently run but has high turnover in both staff and supervisory positions. Complete deadwood in at least two critical office positions limits possibility of change, growth or even improvement in established core competencies. There is a general obsession with the irrelevant aspects of daily operation while options for actual improvement are bypassed. Overall, there is a sense that playing the game of running a company is more important than actually operating efficiently and with the future in mind. It will likely shut down the day profits go red, and the owner will move on to the next bright idea.

Pros

-Great/passionate technical team -Quarterly meetings w/ breakfast (Sabor Mexican Grill)

Cons

-All new-hire females within the last year quit within 2 months -NO remote work (unless you're the top 3) -Old hardware company that's failing -New MSP company that isn't ran by anyone specifically -NO communication between departments (2 departments) -Sales software is from the 90's -Investment in itself = $0 -Relies on old hardware / warehouse processes to carry everything forward Company is ran terribly, but the technical team is extremely capable. Unfortunate swing and a miss.

Thank you for the detailed review, and our apologies that we missed the base with some of the items mentioned. To address a few of your concerns directly, TrinWare certainly encourages a diverse workplace, and employs several female employees that have been with us as long as 4 years. Next, our work tends to be in person, and while we do offer some remote work, most of our work needs to be in-office for success (technical onsites, warehousing, PC assembly). Finally, in regards to our MSP side of the house, we have been continuously growing over the years, and are excited to showcase some new and exciting services within the next months that will continue to grow that division. We encourage any current or former employees to offer their feedback so we can continue to grow our small business. 720-488-9800.

Pros

My history with TrinWare. I moved back to Colorado, making a career change from Welding/mining back into the IT industry. The President of TrinWare gave me an opportunity to break back into this field by starting me out as a PC configuration/hardware tech. Earned my Comptia A+ certification while in this department. Then during the holidays of 2021 I got moved into the NOC as a level one support tech. Since then it's been hard earned wisdom, and mistakes/learning that have brought to this review......and my last day of employment. There was a period of time, when most of the business was out sick, and I found myself having to learn level 2, level 3, and even level 4 support solutions on my own due to being the only one in the NOC. There were only 3 of us at the time. kept moving forward, trying my best to provide solutions probably way above my head at times. Then the NOC has recently gotten staffed with level 3 personnel, and.........where we have come to my last day. Hitting the ground running, looking at tickets and issues that a tech one tried his best to resolve, and from what I was told had gotten to many client complaints as to solutions not being resolved. Maybe the new NOC team didn't see my plaque, or the fact that I was employed as a level one technician. However, the damage I guess was done, and was told it wasn't working out, and was let go. I probably didn't ask for help, and that's on me. Got used to finding the best solution I could because I didn't have the team resources at times to get answers from. That's on me, and I take full responsibility for that. The new NOC team, all being level 3 and above, maybe thought I was a level 3 too, and figured I lied on my resume........who knows. At the end of he day, I am a level one tech learning and growing. I'll get where I want to be, and it's unfortunate that I couldn't do this with TrinWare. Too sum up. the President.....good man, and very grateful for the opportunity he gave me to get started back into the IT world. If I run into him again, or any of the staff I grew to know, will happily shake their hand, and ask how they are doing. The new NOC staff.....except for one, I realistically can't give an opinion either way because I didn't know them well enough. I trust they are good people though because of the character of the people who hired them. So......I'm only growing my skills, and moving forward. I hope the best for TrinWare, and yeah......... I do believe they are a good company to work for, and it was just unfortunate my current skillset didn't match up to what they are looking for right now. Grateful for the opportunity I was given there.

Cons

communication could be improved within the company, but......nobody's perfect.

Thank you for the honest and detailed review. We appreciate your feedback, and know that we're always looking to improve our business however we can. We have implemented several systems to improve our communication and processes with our staff and thank you for making a mention of that. The thing that resonated most with me is the word "growth" that you used in your review. TrinWare is always looking for individuals that are looking to grow and learn something new. With 350+ years of combined experience in the IT field, we certainly have a diverse knowledge base among our staff that is happy to share those skills with others. Good luck to you on your career, and if we can support you further, please give us a call! 720-488-9800.
