      Limited Advancement with a Company stuck in old school ways!

      Located in a great area of West L.A.

      Cons

      Full of old timers who don't care about the company nor do they care about increasing business. They are there taking up space, collecting a pay check and happy with pushing paper. They hardly know the business, so change to keep up with industry trends and technology is practically non-existent. Very limited opportunity to advance. Very clique-ish. Execs have a select few favorites who rule the direction of the company. Very contractor dependent in the IT dept.

      Pros

      There are many perks that Topa offers such as monthly lunches, an on-site gym and trainer, etc. The CEO speaks at employee meetings on a monthly basis.

      Cons

      This company suffers from poor management, favoritism and a toxic human resources department. HR looks the other way at harassment perpetrated by certain managers. Employees are blamed for the shortcomings of managers. Policy and claim information is very difficult to obtain which makes work almost impossible to perform correctly.
