      Good Benefits, Good People, Atrocious Management

      Pros

      Great benefits Mostly good people Company gatherings happen pretty regularly Can work from home People who leave have gone on to better things, so it's a good springboard

      Cons

      Upper management is lazy and non-existent No real growth Company has a backwards mentality in its decisions / seemingly rewards people for bad behavior Pay is not the greatest Heavy workload with barely any recognition

      Pros

      Top performers are identified and promoted, though because of constant belt-tightening are typically paid well below market price.

      Cons

      Headquarters are just a depressing place to be - very low-energy, lots of people who have been working at the company for 10+ years and are in no rush to get things done. Technical leadership is well behind the times and can be obstructionist. The private equity leadership team that was put in place in 2015-2016 is a pretty sleazy old boys club, very prone to favoritism. Because of the pressure to produce a certain multiple for the PE owners they're very reluctant to hire replacements for people who leave, leaving them with a lot of dead weight and a few very overworked and underpaid teams.

      There is always a lot to do.

      Cons

      The company is running on skeleton crew, and is always behind on projects. There is no balance between business and personal. Management has no leadership qualities.
