    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Stanford University full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Lots of financial resources for research.

    Cons

Absolutely no incentive to be a good teacher. There is a stratified system between practitioners and tenured faculty. Most faculty have long ago stopped making relevant work.

    No Opinion of CEO

I worked at Stanford University full-time for more than 10 years

Great benefits and extras such as $800/year for training - which you can use for almost anything.

    Cons

Stagnant work environment in most departments, no room for advancement. Like a caste system - professors are professors, lecturers are lecturers, staff is staff, etc.
