Pros

a few hidden gems can be found in this steaming pile of sh***y sh*t.

Cons

Terrible company, terrible pay, terrible people (mostly, some absolute gems). Do not work for this company. They seem to genuinely only promote narcissists as managers. Save yourself the therapy bills and do not apply. - As this job can be extremely emotionally taxing, you would expect support from management. Well, you get none. In place of this, you get yelled at and made to feel like you're walking on eggshells. On this note, a key part of this role is providing support to society's most vulnerable, which you absolutely cannot do if you yourself are being abused. Oh and no one gives a crap about the participants - to them, they are meal tickets. Sausages in the meat grinder. - Hypocrite managers who work from home but don't offer WFH because they are obsessed with the idea that nobody does any work when they're not there. Nothing will ever be good enough for these people. - This leads into the controlling behavior of managers (not all managers) - HR are kind of disorganized. - no compassion for emotionally distressed/ ill/ grieving employees (you are just a number to them hun) Nothing will happen if you complain, loads of people have before. I'm just writing this in place of going to therapy.

Pros

A great company to work for with a great bunch of people dedicated to helping the unemployed.

Cons

Not much investment in the technology infrastructure to help both staff and clients.

Pros

Many great colleagues in centres.

Cons

A lot of chaos in the organisation, often underpinned by insufficient staffing. No chances for progression and your job will almost certainly not be what you were employed to do. Only 20 days holiday and general 'get away with as little perks/positives as possible towards staff' from senior management.
