Our teams success was stunted, however, by the company’s CGO. The CGO fails to make quick decisions that turn into a drawn-out process to where deadlines are missed for producing client requested information. It also became very evident, not to pay attention to general product deadlines provided because they were just going to be pushed out with no real consequences, it becomes uncomfortable making empty promises on a daily basis when there such a lack of accountability in other departments that continue to push out deadlines or ignore them all together .
Then there were pay cuts that resulted in decreased team morale. Still the CGO increased sales quotas and KPIs to truly arguably unattainable levels, while handcuffing the commission structure. If PEX wants to survive they need to replace the CGO or devise an ACTUAL plan for attainable growth via committee.
PEX also failed to hire from within for major managerial roles outside of sales. For those stepping into those roles, they are far behind the learning curve and tend to have no leadership ability which resulted in the sales process slowing down. I do want to also point out that I visited the HR office on numerous occasions only to be turned away. This led to extreme frustration. Overall the company has a lot of potential but the lack of leadership and action outside of the sales department was very concerning which ultimately led to me leaving PEX.
This is certainly not a personal grudge, just an honest opinion regarding the future success of the company and I want people to understand the thought and time put into this review as well as the effort put forth on a daily basis during my time with PEX.
