Pros

None. I can't think of any.

Cons

They have come up with nothing for me. I am a mature worker with extensive relevant experience and good academic qualifications. They do not communicate with me and have been 100% unresponsive. I would have hoped that as an older worker with such a long full-time career behind me they would be able to find some secretarial/admin roles. I have registered with them and then visited their office a second time but all for nothing. Demoralising.

Pros

Honestly? Nothing. Apart from the girls in my branch, the rest was horrible.

Cons

- My Branch Manager was horrible. He picked on how I dressed, how I spoke, promised incentives and never delivered (eg. if you make 50 calls today I'll reward you. I'd make the calls and then when I told him he'd say- yeah? well that's your job so, carry on!) - I felt guilty every time I had to take annual leave. You're made to feel like you owe the company something for not being there - Complete favortism and discrimination - Absolutely NO training. I went into Consultant work having no experience and I was given no help. - I cried at my desk almost every day due to stress. My manager and senior consultants made me feel irrelevant and when I needed help I felt I couldn't ask for fear of their reaction - No employee benefits whatsoever

Pros

Training is very good, benefits were excellent

If you are a temp with this company make sure you take all of your holiday entitlement branches get bonuses based on unpaid/unused holidays. Some very underhand tactics employed within my branch which didn’t sit right for me personally but plenty around me that were happy to work this way. Pay is poor for those in support roles employed by Office Angels. Often earning much less than the candidates being placed with client who have fewer responsibilities. The amount of work support staff are expected to do in their contracted hours is not achievable so majority work much longer hours than their Consultants. Was definitely mis-sold the role I was employed to do.

Thank you for your review. I was so surprised to read this and would really value the opportunity to talk to you further if you would be willing. Candidate Consultants are the backbone of our business and integral to our success. We have a culture where they are loved, rewarded and recognised, and many of these people have been with us for many years. It concerns me that this was not your experience. I cannot argue that the workload is high, and we are always looking at ways to improve this. We absolutely do not expect people to work more than their contracted hours, and this should be managed by the branch, so I would like to know where you worked so I could deal with this. I am very concerned about your comments regarding auditing, as we pride ourselves on doing things right, and placing the candidate and client first, and I am not aware of the issues you have commented on so would be keen to talk to you personally.
