Pros
Lots of Pros if you are apart of the chosen few. White men of a certain faith seem to have all the benefits and all the leeway. Great company culture for them. Weekly spiritual luncheon and very friendly towards each other, ability to work from home, have multiple vacay days, and be ineffective in their actual jobs. They also tend to not work on Friday. Technically they are here for a half day but that is rarely the case. Nine months out of the year the select few are mostly gone on Friday. They even have a summer party just for them! It's unfortunate because the owners perception is that they are generous, and they are, to that select group. The owners proudly say you get all the Jewish Holidays but that doesn't really help if you aren't jewish- you are just home on a random day. The chosen few usually take off the days surrounding any holidays because they seemingly have endless PTO days
Cons
If you are not in that select group things are frustrating. You will most definitely be under valued, under paid and under appreciated. The "benefits" are bare minimum at best. The pay doesn't come close to competitive. Many outside of the select few are dismissed. The owners do not trust any of their staff (says more about them then the staff) The non- chosen folks have to work on Friday come in early all week to offset leaving "early" on Friday (early is 5 pm wooo) Frequently since the chosen are OOO work goes unanswered or slows down during jewish holidays and on Friday. WE do not have endless PTO we have 8 days... good luck planning any thing or getting sick. During National holidays we usually work and then we will get an email mid day saying they are letting us leave "early" The office is open christmas eve, good friday, and most bank holidays. Its a shame because many of the employees are kind and fun but this is the place for your career and ability to afford a social life to die.
