      Pros

      I've worked at LKAB for about 2 years and I havn't had any really bad experience yet. Good pay Alot of progress can be made both in the company and you can also learn alot about mining and processing minerals.

      Cons

      This is from former experinces when i worked at other places in the company. The "Safety first" rule is enforced just to make the company look good. Don't get me wrong i think it's good BUT, If you report something that's not safe you often get the response "Can't you do it anyway? It will be quick". Alot of the dangers tha can result in death takes to long to be fixed. But these points is mainly about people and not the company itself, they should look over who they employ.

      Pros

      Good training, decent pay dependent on area. Good set of lads.

      Cons

      - Lack of progression - When it comes to males on the plants and general manual labour jobs, progression is extremely limited. You’re met with hurdles like experience which you will have but not enough in the big wigs eyes, same applies to qualifications. - The only people they promote from within are engineers or the pretty faced ladies in admin that brown nose the managers and directors on LinkedIn regardless of experience or have history in Hansons or Francis Flowers. - On a site level, the balance of pay is extremely unfair. - The mental health support in the company is just to tick boxes.

      Senior leadership is poor especially regarding toxic workplace behaviours and some areas have poor progression opportunities and personal development isn’t well invested in but it is pretty secure and they have good mental health support

      Cons

      Progression opportunities lacking and personal development needs more investment
