I worked at Kinder Morgan full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Benefits and pay we’re pretty good. The core values seemed really great! I love a company that promotes safety and close knit team.

    Cons

HR and managers do not reinforce the core values. If it isn’t convienient to the managers, they will not follow core values. If you report someone that kisses the bosses butt, they will try to make a good employee quit by micromanaging in an effort to make a person leave. The ethics hotline seems like a great thing until a complaint is filed. They don’t practice what they preach unless it’s convienient. Lots of bullying and micro managing. Employees forced to walk on eggshells in fear of losing their jobs if they speak up about shady managers to HR.

I have been working at Kinder Morgan full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Dupont schedule, decent overtime sometimes

    Cons

THEY CONTINUOUSLY SCREW UP EMPLOYEES PAYCHECKS!! And once YOU figure out what is actually owed to you, it sometimes takes months to get reimbursed. Rediculous and totally goes against their own “ commitment to employees” standard.

I worked at Kinder Morgan full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Kinder Morgan focuses on their business and rather than adding frivolous benefits and perks, they pay their people well and let them decide what they want to do with their money. Most of the people that work there are friendly and enjoy their work and work well as a team. As for their policies and procedures, they are written and clear. They are staffed well enough not to be negligent of their work responsibilities but also not so fat that they lay off people by the thousands. Pay and benefits are very good.

    Cons

There is some political maneuvering to advance but you will find that at every company. No paternity leave.
