Management uses demoralizing tactics. They are insistent on long hours and call it "hard work". They make new employees feel very unwelcome, as if they are unwanted strangers to their business. The expectations aren't really given in a forthcoming manner. Morale is low there. Someone working until 2 or 3am is commonplace. They pay at the bottom 1 percent of the normal distribution of people in the same field. They have very little to no structure on how code is written or maintained. I've heard there is a revolving door for the position I worked.
