"Don't believe the good reviews! They're fake."

Pros

Despite some of the reviews, the software is actually pretty good. Better than what the competition offers. The company is loaded with some good and talented people. The company also offers some good flexibility on work vs family life. But that is where it ends.

Cons

The CEO in no way could be called a leader. With him at the helm, the culture is a rotting cesspool with no inspiration. With unrealistic expectations, and bipolar KPI's he is rarely happy with employee's performance. The CMO/marketing department does a great job protecting their jobs, but very little to provide the strategy to sell the product. The C Suite struggles to be on the same road map together. Lots of unhappy employees due to moral. You will notice many good reviews in May and Sept 2018. To overcome bad review on this site, marketing requested employees, in certain departments, to go online and give a positive review. Pathetic. Employee turn over is quite high, especially in sales. There are always new faces and not due to headcount growth. It could be a good place to work if it had good management.

The most toxic workplace I've ever encountered

Pros

Unlimited PTO to recover from the demoralizing workplace culture

Cons

If you take one thing from this review, understand this: there are only two types of people that work at Impartner. People that hate their jobs and people that make other people hate their jobs. This is evidenced by their extremely high turnover rate. I saw many employees come and go in a matter of just a few months. The positive reviews on here are laughable. Some (if not most) were written by marketing employees as a job assignment or were solicited by the marketing team. The fact that they added a picture with their name photoshopped onto the building is evidence that they're going for a bait-and-switch approach here. This company will never succeed with its current management. As mentioned in previous reviews, the CEO uses quarterly company meetings to berate all employees. He is the single worst example of a leader that I could imagine. Don't bother complaining to HR about the issues you'll inevitably have with your manager--you won't get any help there. The company consistently demonstrates how little they care about employees. They have never been profitable. Once covid hit, the CEO "reassured" everyone that the company was doing great. But despite having received a great deal of funding a few months prior and having received free money from the government, they STILL used covid as a convenient excuse to lay off employees and cut everyone's salaries. That's a huge red flag. It was sad to see people go like that, but honestly they were lucky. This is not a trendy Silicon Slopes tech company like they'd like you to believe. Working at Impartner was perhaps the worst decision I've ever made. I had doubts after my experience with the recruiter, and I should have gone with my gut. The situation I was put in was not at all what I signed up for and I know many others who felt the same way. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I can't say enough to convey how horrible this company is to work for.

Pros

Tenured product people that are compassionate yet frustrated. Good enough product to compete in smaller markets.

Cons

Managed by fear and intimidation. Trust the other reviews that the CEO berates and talks down to employees. He has a lot of money (to the rest of us) invested, along with friends that are partners from past ventures with the CEO.There is nothing positive about the "culture" here. There is no HR department (administrative only in function with no voice for the employees). No values, mission statement, or encouraging motivation. Show up and make money without complaint or you will be terminated. Females are treated unfairly and have to exist in a hostile environment. Discrimination and harassment issues are ignored and covered up by management.
