Pros

None, they don't even deserve that one star

Cons

The extremely long working hours, you will have no life and you will lose all your friends, the training in head office is extremely boring and long. I worked with a bunch of really mean people in my office who bullied me and everyone on head office wanted me to quit because I fell sick which was just mean, they give you a company car yet the smallest scratch had left me in over £1,000 worth of debt because fleet have to get it repaired, biggest mistake of my life was working for this company. It will become your life. 8-8 6 days a week. Don't even bother applying if you want to have a life. They claim to have good career opportunities but when I said I wasn't coping well with the hours they said there's no place for me in the company.

Pros

- Comprehensive training program, although quite brainwashing and dehumanising - they do not encourage independent thinking/individuality (a shame they do not teach their management/HR values of equality and not to discriminate against others)

Cons

- XENOPHOBIC - unless you fit a certain profile, they are not inclusive of you. They do not understand equality or respect basic human rights - Senior staff in their flagship Chelsea office are pitiful racists/bullies - They hide behind a dishonest facade and propaganda which allude to the equality/diversity - this is far removed from reality - Shocking discrimination against CLIENTS AND STAFF on the basis of: ethnicity, religion, sexuality, culture, background - Managers create an unhealthy harassing/bullying environment - Pitiful 'Wolf of Wall Street' mentality displayed/encouraged by management and colleagues - Very ignorant in the most basic of areas - HR severely fail staff and understand no concept of safeguarding/staff wellbeing - Continuous recruitment due to high-turnover of staff - they treat employees as disposable, and do not value them as human beings - Their sole objective is money, once a client has paid them - they are no longer of interest (irregardless of poor/incomplete service provided) - They are dishonest and encourage a culture of manipulation, dishonesty, intimidation, psychological tactics - This is a company with a blatant disregard for others - they are arrogant and unapologetic for their fundamental misdeeds/failures *AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS...work for one of their competitors instead and be treated fairly instead - they are actually the laughing stock of Estate Agency chains in London*

Do Not Go There!

Pros

I give credit for Trainjng scheme and how organised everything is in this company and that's it. However, what's the point when most people are put off completely by the company that rather decide not to continue in the property industry. What I don't understand is why they spend so much money on people knowing that they are not going to stay with them!Right? I think one good thing I did like about going there was the initial welcoming and recruiting stages. The recruitment department were friendly to me, but later when you go to work in their offices the story is totally different.

Cons

The whole experience is shocking! Even the little good things fade away next to the negative points. Unfortunately, there is a lot of negative points to share! This company likes bullying their staff, that's how their managements style is. It's so sad to see young people so passionate and inexperienced falling for branded mini and champagne bottles and occasionally hide their tears from their families ! And I am not just talking about girls, but also boys become the victims of this company! There is absolutely no human right or justice in there and some one should do something about it! I watched some of the top negotiators leave one by one because they couldn't take it anymore ! I never experienced or witnessed anything like this before, not even at school. I was always loved and been rewarded for my skills in school by my teachers. Coming from a psychology background, I immediately noticed some odd behaviours and unusual personalities. After just a few months, some one who got promoted as my valuer, too young and inexperienced with a lot of ego in my office started bullying myself and some one very dear to me for a very long time. When I reported this issue, things only got worse for me and didn't change anything . At the end I just decided to celebrate the Christmas party with the people who were normal and likeable before I leave and ignored the rest. I kept my head up and smiled at the abusers, showing my invisible 👑 crown ! This type of people fail when they see you happy and successful.. so smile is the best slap in the face! 👸🏼😊👑💃🏻 It felt so good leaving this company and to see the light again! From the office to the car I felt like I was out of a prison. When you work with them, they keep telling you they are the best in the industry and that you can make more money with them than other companies! it's not true! Very materialistic people can survive this place longer than I could and they also overvalue properties, but put pressure on their negotiators to sell their stock! Since I have left, I met so many better people and companies than Foxtons. One very funny thing side to it: The guy that bullied me ended up being my buyer later when I joined another agency! Secretly I wish to see him locked in a proprty so he can never get out !;) 🤣Lol. He is now my every day joke, but there was no laughter when I was working with him. I am stronger than him and Foxtons was not good enough for me. Do you want to know more? 4 of us negotiators left (3 from my office) around same time because we just had enough of those attitudes!.. 7 left from the first days I started.. and ofcourse there is more to tell .. one of their negotiator in my first few months accused me for stealing her blazer which was probably only worth £10! lol 😂 I don't think I blame her now, knowing that she was probably just under a lot of stress and pressure too. They seem to like to shape and form you into little evils and her jealousy and immaturity made her vunrebale to it! .. there is still a lot more to tell... and more ... 🤢 .. oh yes a lot more! so just hear it from me and do yourself a favour - Do Not Go There! The whole experience I had in Foxtons was shocking!!!! And do I want to keep it to myself - absolutely not !!! Every truth always comes out on the surface. They are fake to public and behind closed doors nothing but shocking personalities! I don't even blame their staff for occasional bad behaviours , I blame the company for putting so much pressure and torturing their staff which turns them into little evils and poppets with wrong behaviours. This is not good because it can later develop mental health issues! Relationships end in this company! The income is low for the hours you put into, below the average rate per hour. The contract says 48 but they actually make you work 67 hours! And they never appreciate you even if you are their best negotiator!! Staff argue with each other over stupid things, because they are too tired to think healthy and positive! I managed to put up with it longer than I thought I could, but I wish I never went there to begin with. I am very happy now and enjoying life again, but my one year experience at Foxtons was hell.
