Pros

Only perks are the benefits but let's be honest, no-one goes to work for class pass or health care!

Cons

The company is very fake and everything is for show. Numbers are hugely inflated to make the company look good to the landlords. The culture is so poor no-one is happy! The directors are often verbaly aggressive towards anyone that questions them and aren't receptive to feedback. If you come from a private school background and know how to pretend like you know what you are talking about then you will be fine. If you aren't private school educated, be prepared to be treated like a number or a tick box exercise. You won't be cared about unless you are a show off. There isn't a single ounce of support from anyone, especially during the early stages, who needs training/onboarding anyway! People are very happy to throw each other under the bus as long as it makes themselves look good as teamwork doesn't exist, it's every man for themselves. Progression is spoken about on every weekly call yet no-one internal is ever progressed unless you come from a high class background. Most toxic place I have ever experienced and if anyone tries to speak out, you will be dragged through the dirt.

Pros

Good team culture among non-leadership staff and nice spaces to work from.

Cons

Very toxic leadership culture who don't practice their portrayed values, it all seems to be for show and they're quick to place blame on others for their oversight. Very high staff turnover

Pros

Creative freedom (due to lack of insight at a senior level about what they want to deliver).

Cons

My role involved navigating misaligned expectations between landlord agreements and operational delivery, often leading to challenging on-site situations, which I felt unfairly blamed for. I regularly worked over 60 hours per week, and felt the casual staff were not treated fairly, or in line with the companies values. There was a lack of perceived value from central support functions for site teams. A high rate of senior management turnover in the clubspace sector created instability in strategic planning. Furthermore, I observed a limited understanding of effective food and beverage strategy, including sourcing. This was compounded by frequent leadership changes, impacting overall stability, direction and rewarding good practice.
