Pros

You will meet a lot of new people - Because of the revolving door, there is a lot of opportunity to make new friends. Room for advancement - Want a promotion? Simply change your job title on your email signature and tell all of your clients you got a promotion! Never a dull moment - You will get plenty of opportunities to watch the CEO belittle the staff in front of everyone, ensuring all staff is constantly on guard wondering when it will be their turn to be mistreated. Massages, car washes, guitar lessons and a stocked kitchen - These perks provide the CEO with reasons to claim he is a superior employer and justification for treating people poorly. You get the opportunity to be a therapist - there are always people leaving work in tears, feeling defeated, and unsure of why they continue to come back to a place that makes them feel so miserable. You learn how to handle yourself in the most awkward interview you will ever participate in - you will be asked to name 3 Nobel Prize winners. Not a single relevant question pertaining to the job you will be applying for. Why, you ask? Because the CEO doesn't care if you can actually do the job, he just wants you to know that he is smarter than you will ever be. Not applying for a high-level position? Doesn't matter. He interviews every person who walks in the door. Apparently his "Directors" aren't capable enough of making good decisions. All jokes aside, that place is a joke.

Cons

The CEO consistently demeans people, often times for meaningless things and things not within our control. These harassing conversations never take place behind closed doors, like a respectable leader would do, instead he prefers to insult you with an audience who is too afraid to do anything about it. Management never intervenes because they are all worried they will become his next target. He never apologizes for being in the wrong, because he doesn't believe he is ever wrong. If you are wondering why people continue to work in such an awful environment, just know that most employees are padding their resumes until something else comes up. Hence the astronomical turnover. The people who work for the company are great people and the only reason I have stayed this long. If you are absolutely desperate for a job and this is your ONLY option, know that you can survive if you read these helpful tips: First order of business is to throw your morals and integrity in the trash. Next up is you got to make sure to caress the CEO's enormous ego. Get him talking about the only thing he really cares about in life, himself. Make sure you know who you can talk to, not everyone there can be trusted. He has a few puppets that will do anything he asks, including write good reviews about how fantastic his company is. See reviews titled "Thankful" and "Amazing Company." For an honest, unsolicited review, read any of the others. Lastly, good luck. You will certainly need it.

Pros

I've been with the company for several years now and feel like I've been given a huge opportunity in developing my career. I owe Troy and many members of the management team at bC a debt of gratitude for giving me this opportunity and experience. If you work hard, stay honest and sincere, you are guaranteed to succeed at benefitsCONNECT.

Cons

It's frustrating to see some of these reviews - I don't understand how people can have such a huge misinterpretation of bC. It's too bad Glassdoor gives the option to be anonymous - I somehow doubt there would be a third of these reviews if people didn't have something to hide behind.

Pros

benefitsCONNECT has the energy of a start-up with the experience of a seasoned company. The atmosphere allows employees to take ownership and leadership within their role. What I love about this organization is the room for advancement and growth. Promotions and new opportunities are awarded from within the organization. If you want more responsibility or a new role, the transition is easy and welcomed with open arms. The employer healthcare industry is thriving and as a technology vendor, benefitsCONNECT is at the epicenter of it all. The fully-stocked kitchen is such a nice and generous perk! We can connect with employees and make breakfast, lunch or a quick snack. We have monthly activities for team-building and corporate events for holidays and birthdays! Employees can work out during lunch breaks (with their gym membership benefit) and stay in our workout clothes. The culture promotes healthy lifestyles and the importance of working out to maintain positive attitudes and strong mental health. The CEO is the biggest advocate for employee well-being and leads the charge for our wellness initiatives. He is experienced, talented and kind. He is a true leader and visionary. He is firm when he has to be - but always fair.

Cons

A fast growing company will encounter challenges. benefitsCONNECT is growing and needs strong, resilient and talented players along for the ride. A con is that we are outgrowing our current procedures, but the good news is that our leadership is working to enhance these processes for the benefit of our clients and employees.
