Workshop Software is always striving to add and make innovating changes to its products and listens to criticism in order to make its products better. The technology and systems in place are always being improved and will always welcome positive change and improvement. Working for Workshop Software was incredibly rewarding and I have learnt invaluable skills.

It is a phone based software as a service company so you are not meeting many new people. This means the team is very tight knit so being able to adapt to different scenarios and personalities is key. Workshop software does however do trade shows all over the world, so this is a good way to interact with customers in person.

If you are in Software Development, Programming, could be Sales or Training, Software Support, maybe client management -this is the place to work that will help you grow. The clients are smart switched on Business owners, which makes your every day interesting. They are thinkers and want the best from their software. They will ask questions and want answers. You will be challenged. Perfect. If you want to grow your skill set, learn to be better in your field, then you should be contacting James. If you want to know how good a company is, look at the tenure of their clients. Many started as single Workshops and now are multi located and some, nationally franchised & Workshop Software has been with them since their 1st day of trading, this alone speaks volumes of the quality of ongoing software development and team management. Oh and the office is less than 10 minutes from one of Sydney's best surf beaches.

If the development and testing of clients ideas takes time, (because it is followed by rigorous testing by programmers then through to beta testing by the team then on to implementation -if all goes well) just because a client sees it as "a simple thing" and not appreciative of the flow through effects of code changes and results. Then I would label this a my only con.
