Pros
Jackson Hole is a cute town with SOME nice people and if you stay at the company long enough you can buy product with the company discount.
Cons
Staff is clique, picture 'Mean Girls' movie x 1000! Ironically, with no design skills to back it up! Most, if not all of the girls working there have ONLY worked at that job, not at other true design firms, so they have no clue of how professional companies work. Nor do they do true interior design, they pick fabric and wall covering, carpet and furniture that ONLY THE OWNER APPROVES OF, not the client, because they don't design for their clients, they design for the 'WRJ design aesthetic', which in plain English, is they select the same materials, lighting and furniture for EVERY project, over and over and over again. There is no thought process for originality or creativity to give your client the individual design for them, it's about what the owner wants in the house, that is the most expensive to the client so the owners make the most money for THEM!!! They don't pass the 'designer discount' price on to the client and they have had clients call them out on that as well and then black ball them for complaining. Arrogant, uneducated, keep up with the Jones' attitude from the owners who are only in it to prop themselves up, try to mingle with the really rich people in JH and treat their staff like dirt. They personally take credit when projects are photographed, never acknowledge any of the designers who work on the projects, tell them they can't take vacation time until a project is complete, complain and moan when someone shows up 2 minutes after 8:00 for the Monday meeting but it's TOTALLY NORMAL, for the owners to never show up for a meeting or show up 30-45 minutes late for every meeting, and no one calls them out. Do yourself a favor and find any other decorating company to work for if that is what you want to do. If you want to 'design' go to an architecture or design firm, not here!!!!
