The security department should be 90 people. We have 8. This results in high stress to staff and low moral. The managers (captains) refuse to assist in duties that we are under staged to perform. They are lazy, irresponsible, and unprofessional in every aspect of this Job. The new director is just as bad. They have applied outrageous standards of performance to be met with less than 8% staffing levels. When the expectations are not met disciplinary action is immediate and there is never an explanation for the action. The pay is low compared to every other security job that is available, too lie for the amount of pressure placed on staff day in and day out. The department as a whole has failed as I would not recommend anyone applying for this job
