    Pros

The facilities are very good and the staff and students make it a good work environment. The university is a strong university on the global scale.

    Cons

The university is in recovery from the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes, and so the student numbers are down and there is little funding to support new initiatives. It will take several more years before the university is back to the same number of students and level of funding from pre-2011.

    Pros

    New Zealand has eliminated COVID-19

Most people who work here are utterly mediocre and more concerned with climbing mountains or fishing or walking in the woods than their careers.
