Pros
Overall when the company had business the work was fulfilling and interesting. I liked the Telcommunication industry.
Cons
Management often publicly shamed employees without coming the employee first. Management was very tight knit and would not listen to suggestions. Owner got into a dispute with the company they were contracting for causing TriTechne to lose their contract. This caused management to layoff of 80/87 employees. Owner seemed to be very short sighted. Management tended to place blame on project managers for shortcomings of other departments. Owner/Managers seem to be writing reviews on glassdoor to pad their score. Some employees said they were approached to write a good review. Employees were let go suddenly after leaving negative reviews. managers/owner was unprofessional with laying off employees. They had over a weeks notice of losing their contract and didn't inform employees until their exit interview. Management refused to pay or honor vacation after termination. Wages were very low in comparison to what TriTechne was billing out. Project Manager and engineering hourly was less than half of what they were making per billed hour. Management had an expectation of overtime and travel regardless of what was negotiated or discussed in any interview. Management would not honor promises of advancement or pay raises.... even though they were paying significantly under industry standard. Management and owner were more interested in making the company look like they were preforming well rather than succeeding. Information only flowed up to management. Even when asked directly about information. Teams were severely understaffed and new employees were under trained.
