Pros

Support staff is great, like corporate recruiter, office admins, IT, and accounting. Kitchen is usually packed with snacks and sodas. Decent pay/comp plan

Cons

There is no trust among your colleagues. The managers/CEO doesn't trust their production staff and vice versa. The production staff doesn't trust each other. Very hostile work environment. Health benefits are horrible, no 401K match, no career path, metrics driven. If you are not an extremely senior resource bringing in your own book of business, you will fail. There is no training and the leadership is extremely poor. It is a revolving door of talent. The company hasn't been able to grow and is, in fact, going the wrong way, even having to shut down an office in Houston and lay offs in the Dallas office. Management has been known to harass subordinates. If you are in a rut, they will embarrass you and call you out in front of others. People have even cried in sales meetings due to the intensity of the harassment. CEO travels quite a bit and is hardly there, so all his information comes from the management that shouldn't be trusted. If you google, "micromanagement," the InSource logo should show up.

Pros

The support staff is absolutely amazing. The accounting team was always there to help and was great at communicating when there was an issue. The two office managers were absolutely incredible. The internal recruiter was fantastic as well. The kitchen was always stocked with snacks and drinks. They would do competitions every quarter and would hand out cash on the spot. Compensation plan is very competitive (Salary/Commission).

Cons

They have an old school way of running their business. Yes some of the previous complaints are accurate, but not as bad as others have stated. The technology is outdated in the sense of ATS and e-mail. I had a brand new laptop with dual monitors. This is a small boutique recruiting firm. You will only succeed if you are already a skilled recruiter/BDM. This isn't one of the big shops where they can spend 3 months training you. I was rather successful while I was there, so you can do well there. The Medical Benefits are the worst I have ever had at a recruiting firm, absolutely terrible. They don't match 401k at all. There is no career path for people who want to move up in a leadership role.
