Pros
In the Healthcare Division, the pay was fair and I thoroughly enjoyed working in the hospital environment. I also grew close to a few of the other officers I worked with.
Cons
It took five months for them to put me on a set schedule and to start giving me every other weekend off as they promised in my interview. They were constantly shorting my paychecks. More often than not, the two week work schedule changed within the first four days. There were many times I had to work 16.5 hour shifts with notice occurring 10-15 minutes prior to the end of my scheduled 8-hour shift. Many times I was expected to work two shifts with less than 8 hours of downtime in between, even though their company policy requires 12 hours between shifts. There are no benefits or overtime.
