Pros
Despite being new to the industry, I was treated as an expert in my field immediately upon arrival. I have never been overlooked or had my ideas ignored when working on solutions to find a problem. The environment is wildly cooperative, especially across disciplines. The people are knowledgeable, honest, and always willing to help. The benefits are plentiful and compensation reasonable.
Cons
The workload is very heavy. Sloan has seen a wild amount of growth in the past few years and it’s practically bleeding projects. This causes difficulty with project prioritization, and deadlines being difficult to meet with the workload. It’s become commonplace for things to be put on hold while high-priority problems are solved, fortunately the management is forgiving and understanding when things don’t go as planned
