Pros
Staff are fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to help. Remote working is encouraged and it’s one of the best flexible working arrangements I have seen advertised in the legal industry. There are also loads of opportunities to progress too - experienced paralegals are trusted with cases under supervision, and promotion boards / Solicitor Qualification Programme applications are held every year for internal candidates only.
Cons
Caseloads are currently on the high side but recruitment is ongoing to improve this. Bonuses can be hard to hit (not impossible, but not easy), and although pay increases with inflation, if you want a pay rise you have to ask for it
