Pros

The salary is relatively high, but this does not account for the stress and workload. Highly skilled developers and technical team within IT.

Cons

Despite the high salary, the pay is simply not worth what you will deal with on a daily basis. Management culture in general is highly toxic despite appearing to be reasonable on the surface. There is immense distrust between team members, and managers encourage other managers not to trust their teams. There are never-ending "behind your back" complaints about petty ordeals being shared between fellow managers that you will only find out about indirectly later on. Unless you are a part of the "club" of upper management, you will be kept out of the loop. You will be given a massive workload almost immediately, and you will have no training or time to acclimate to the team and organization. There will be extreme pressure to accomplish milestones on work/projects that are destined to fail and have been passed around due to mismanagement and employee turnover. Think you have experienced an organization with lots of meetings? Think again. There are expectations for managers to schedule an almost shocking multitude of recurring "meetings for the sake of meetings" that will consume virtually every time block of your day, leaving little to no time to complete actual work. Despite this, the expectations for deliverables on "actual work" stay the same and actually increase over time. These meetings are mandated under the guise of "productivity" despite decreasing that very thing. Employees will be publicly criticized and embarrassed in meetings for failing to meet arbitrary demands and timeframes that shift based on the whims of higher-ups. Policies are extremely outdated. Very few holidays, scant PTO, and a culture of discouraging the use of that PTO. Depending on the manager, there will be almost no empathy for those dealing with family or other personal matters; instead, the pressure to hold meetings and deliver work stays higher than ever. Do not fall for the interview trap of them saying "We have a caring culture". Instead, listen to the red flags of "hitting the ground running" and "fast-paced delivery" or you'll experience what these really mean. Unless you are prepared for soul-sucking work with constant stress, you escape fast enough.

Pros

Very little micro-management and senior leadership actually listens to engineer feedback. The pay and ability to work remotely was also great.

Cons

You may end up wearing multiple hats. While this can be daunting at first, the experienced gained was invaluable.

Pros

If you like working 24/7/365 you will do great here.

Cons

Upper management is out of touch, using earned PTO is frowned upon, turnover is very high company wide. 401k match is abysmal, PTO is less than market average, no sick time until first anniversary, expensive healthcare premiums.
