Pros
The guests and my coworkers were what made it tolerable. Some of the coolest people I’ve ever met. Everyone works together and has each others backs. The restaurant is very clean and orderly and the standards are high. The food is bomb, thus easy to sell, and the cocktails are incredible. The toast tablets are super awesome and make working a lot easier. The guests are also incredible and I met a lot of awesome people at my (and others) tables.
Cons
People sell their soul to their jobs here, which is not my cup of tea. People tried meddling in my personal life too much. The managers are extremely unprofessional. Getting wasted with their employees outside of work and everything. They play favorites and it affects scheduling, which of course affects income. I was hired as a full time employee but the only time I ever hit full time hours was when I picked up shifts. Lots of power trips among the managers. I would get corrected on stuff that 1) I’d seen many other people do before and 2) things that I’d already been corrected on and then corrected on the correction…..double standards. Was emotionally abused by several of the managers. I was offered a promotion and the managers retaliated when I declined it — cut my hours and started treating me like garbage. Silent treatment and everything. SUPER unprofessional and childish and I wouldn’t recommend working here to anyone.
