Pros

Remote work resulting in decent work life balance. No one will challenge you if you mind your personal business during office hours. Decent healthcare benefits (until recently). Colleagues are good to work with. Stable and diversified business model.

Cons

Good culture turning into toxicity due to focus so much on stock price movement and top line revenue growth. The company has multiple culture conflicts internally that creates stress and bad politics. Distinct class system among leaders. If you are not in their good grace, your contributions are neither acknowledged nor rewarded. No room for quiet contributors who make a good impact. Pay raises are mediocre. Ask for top of the range salary. Don't count on pay raises or good bonuses down the road. Constant reorgs and newer work dumped on top of existing work on a quarterly basis with no training or support from your manager. No employee stock purchase plan for a publicly traded company. No stock awards if you are not a new VP or above. When a lay-off happens, they won't inform you. You will find out when some attendee does not show up to scheduled meetings or through your work buddies.

Pros

Work/life balance. Decent benefits. Fully remote role.

Cons

Management demonstrated clear favoritism, which negatively impacted team morale and fairness in the workplace. Communication was often ineffective, with instructions that were unclear or poorly explained. When clarification was needed, responses could be dismissive or demeaning rather than supportive. Additionally, certain team members contributed to an unprofessional environment by speaking to colleagues in a disrespectful and condescending manner. Overall, the lack of clear communication and respectful interaction made it challenging to work effectively.
