Pros

The people I worked with on site, only some of them.

Cons

I would not recommend working here. There is a significant disconnect between corporate leadership and property level operations. Expectations are consistently unrealistic, particularly around labor budgets and staffing, and properties are often held accountable for outcomes without being given the appropriate resources or support to succeed. Corporate leadership is highly micromanaging, yet does not provide the staffing, budget, or operational infrastructure necessary to execute at the level they demand. There is constant oversight and scrutiny of property level decisions, but very little meaningful support or strategic partnership. Teams are expected to meet aggressive financial and service targets while operating in understaffed environments with constrained budgets. Communication from corporate is inconsistent at best and often nonexistent. Critical information is frequently shared at the last minute or not at all, forcing property teams into reactive mode. When challenges arise, communication tends to be critical rather than collaborative. Instead of problem solving together, there is a pattern of blame shifting, especially during periods of operational strain. The overall culture feels fear based. Leadership behavior can be reactive and emotionally charged, which trickles down throughout the organization. Decision making often appears impulsive rather than thoughtful, creating instability and low morale. Many leaders operate cautiously rather than confidently due to the tone set at the top. The HR department was particularly disappointing. Employee concerns were not handled with the neutrality, discretion, or professionalism one would expect. Processes lacked transparency and consistent follow through, which further eroded trust. There are talented, hardworking individuals at the property level who genuinely care about their teams and the guest experience. Unfortunately, the broader corporate structure and leadership approach make long term success difficult.
