Pros
- Large Oil and Gas clients that are relatively big names but much of the work is staff augmentation - Junior Staff are generally professional and trying to grow - Free snacks - if you are in the office
Cons
- Partners lies through their teeth about assignments, compensation, rewards to employees . . . anything to get their way. - Partners have openly recruited people from other prestigious firms, promised them huge compensation only to pay lower than market rates and turn around and fire them so they can cash in. This is a regular occurrence. - Partners should be paying staff higher than market rates to compensate for the risk employees take on by working in a highly volitile energy market but instead, promise them that the bonus will 'take care of it' and dont raise base salary commensurate with experience. - Intentionally slow to promote because they make more money at the determent of the persons self esteem, career, and hard work; people eventually figure this out and just leave. - They have told women staffers they will not compensate them for ' having a baby ' - Office culture is brash and there are frequent sexual innuendos made by partners - Partners are very prone to play favorites, especially when it is convenient
