Pros
An incredible team of people doing the heavy lifting, despite being consistently under-resourced. Great central London great office location.
Cons
Extremely old-fashioned approach to work-life balance and flexible hours. While flexibility is often promised during interviews, there’s little to no follow-through. The office vibe is flat. Most people seem burnt out and are just counting down the hours until they can leave. There’s no energy or enthusiasm, and it shows. Despite the strong push to keep people physically in the office, the environment itself is incredibly average: not enough toilets, constantly broken lifts, subpar coffee machine. Teams are consistently under-resourced, largely due to impulsive decision-making and a lack of genuine listening from senior leadership about what skills are actually needed in the teams (instead opting to move internal employees with no background in that speciality into these roles).
