A fast-evolving environment within a forward thinking company focusing on immediate and long-term goals. These long-term goals create an exciting work environment the involves continuous personal skill and knowledge development, however; there is also an amazing support team in place to make sure MicroD is in the know… now! This technology company needs to stay in line with current trends yet, must always keep a focus on the “what next”. It’s the “what next” that puts MicroD and its employees at the top of the class within their technology sector.
The work environment is open, casual, and flexible. Honestly, as with any job, if you simply do your job to the best of your ability, you forge a path to personal achievement which leads to the success of the company directly affecting career growth. Feeling accomplished and taking ownership… it feels good! I personally feel that MicroD values those initiatives.
This is a small company. You need to be prepared to wear several hats and interact with other teams. You do not need to have the biggest voice to be visible at MicroD. I find that the door is always open to creative thinking with a senior management team that respects, listens, and advises. It’s these qualities that make MicroD a great place to work.

The general smaller company short-term risks. Be prepared to take on more. The technology which MicroD offers and supports is ever-changing. Ongoing technology advancements need immediate time and attention which could take away from planned process and tasks.
