Pros

Very nice group of people willing to make you feel part of the company.

Cons

Here are roughly the following pay wages: Tech I: 0-2 Certifications $10-15/hr; (Concrete Tech & Soils Lab Tech); wages increase to ~$17.5-18 if you've been there for 5+ years. Tech II: 2-4 Certifications $15-18 (Field Tech & Asphalt)j; Very dirty, very hot temperature wise in the shop,, long hours, and potential health risks due to exposure to solvent. Expect mandatory overtime hours and high pressure situations. Project Asst: $15/hr Sample Runner: $15/hr Document Controller: $25/hr (Includes 10+ yrs with company) Engineers: Varies with experience but at least $2,200 Biweekly, but furthers much more. -Drug testing is required. This company trains employees only to perform tests to make them money. The ratio of labor per dollar is staggering. Each test performed makes FAR more money than cost of labor and expenses. Don't think that working harder will make you more money, performance is negligent, only time of employment. Very political environment with VERY limited opportunity to advance. If you are an engineer then perhaps you will find a steady place of employment.
