Pros
The staff by and large were very intelligent talented, competent people. Work life balance was ok. The summer and winter socials were good until convergence decided to stop doing them.
Cons
The New lower and senior management changes were extremely poor. The Culture and buzz about the place has been absolutely destroyed by the takeover The only benefit given is medical cover. Nothing else. Pension contribution is terrible compared to other companies. No progression at all. Pay is extremely poor compared to other companies nationwide. The takeover feels like it’s just a money spin for Neil Harrison and convergence. They don’t care about the employees just profits profits profits It was a great company before the takeover and the mass redundancies. As soon as they started getting rid of people after saying they wouldn’t, morale and culture was non existent. Everyone there is miserable. The whole office is just a soulless abyss Communication is awful. Things constantly change and no one knows what’s going on day to day most of the time.
